On May 12th 2008 Doug Miller Soccer hosted the 1st annual TOPSoccer Charity Golf event at Midvale Country club. TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, age 8-19, who has a mental or physical disability. Their goal is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the US YOUTH SOCCER family. "Anytime you give back to the soccer community is good, but when you know that you are giving back to such a great cause it makes it even more special" said Doug Miller organizer of this event.

The final tally rasied $1800 for TOPSoccer - New York State West Youth Soccer would like to thank Doug and his team for organizing this effort!!
