2021/2022 Risk Management Registration Link: https://nyswysa.sportngin.com/register/form/642272043
To All Club Administrators & Registrars:
The 2021-22 Risk Management Seasonal registration is now open. You can find the link to access the registration page in Sports Engine on our main webpage at www.nyswysa.org as well as www.nyswysa.org/risk-management.
Concussion Protocol training from the CDC is now a mandatory component of the RM process and will be found in the application process, along with Safesport training and/or refresher courses.
This registration season is for all New Team Staff & Volunteers as well as Returning Staff & Volunteers whose current RM Passes expire 12/31/2020. If you have a pass valid through 12/31/2021, you do NOT need to renew.
If your Club has staff that are also members of WNY Referees Association, they should first contact their District Referee Assignor for instructions on how to best proceed with Risk Management Renewal.
If you have Staff that are members of more than one Club, remind those members that they should be applying/renewing and selecting their Primary Club in their RM application. NYSWYSA can then later assist you in making sure that RM status applies in your Rosterpro account as well.
It is critical that ALL applicants use their LEGAL name as it appears on their Driver's License or Passport, AND that the name coincides with their Rosterpro record in your Club Rosterpro accounts. The use of monikers and aliases is prohibited.
All Minor RM registrants, ages 12 through 17, must have their own unique email address when applying. A parent/guardian may make an application for a Minor in their Sports Engine account however the Minor must be given their own unique email address in the application.
Adult applicants can only register themselves in their own Sports Engine account. Do NOT use the Minor Under 18 registration option to register your spouse/partner.
Clubs may use existing pre-purchased codes and buy additional codes using the existing process in place. Contact your Club's registered agent (normally the Treasurer) to do so.
A reminder that ALL members clubs now print their own RM passes. Each Club should have notified NYSWYSA of their RM card printing designee.
