The East Region Olympic Development Program conducted its age group invitational camps in July 2023.  The camps bring together the top ODP players from the region’s fifteen state associations.  The players selected to attend the camp represent their respective age groups' East Region player pool. This year, players born in ’06, ’07, ‘08, ’09, '10 and '11 gathered in Farmington, CT, where they trained and played games under the watchful eye of the East Region ODP boys and girls coaching staffs.  Players gained valuable experience while training, playing and competing, with and against the top players from all over the Northeast.  In each age group, the top players from the regional pools were selected to move on to their respective East Region ODP Teams. The respective East Region ODP Teams will travel January 18-22, 2024 (girls) and January 24-28, 2024 (boys) to compete in the ODP Inter-Regional Tournament in Orlando, FL (with the ODP Regional teams from the South, Midwest and West).  At that event, players will then be selected to their age group's ODP National Select Team. The respective US ODP National Select Teams will then compete in nationally renowned tournaments in the spring of 2024.  (Last year, the tournaments attended were the Mayor's Cup in Las Vegas and Dallas Cup in Dallas)  

At the conclusion of this year’s camps a total of fifteen girls and twenty-six boys from NYW were selected to their respective age group’s East Region ODP Player Pool.  Additionally, four boys and one girl (asterisk/ bold type) were selected to their respective ODP East Region Teams.
