The Region I Olympic Development Program conducts its age group camps in mid-July of each year.  The camps bring together the top ODP players from the region’s fifteen state associations. This year, players with birth years of  ‘91/92 (girls only), ‘93, ‘94, ‘95, ’96 and ‘97/’98 gathered on the campuses of Rider College and Kutztown University (boys) and at Harvard and the University of Rhode Island (girls), where they trained and played games under the guidance of the Region I Coaching Staffs. Players gained valuable experience while training and playing with and against the top players from all over the northeast. Additionally, players in each age group are selected to move on and join their respective Region I player pools. From this group, a regional team will be chosen which will compete later in the year at inter-regional tournaments (competing against the other three regional teams - the South, the Midwest and the West), domestic tournaments and/or international tournaments.   Some players may then be selected to join US Youth national pools/teams. 

At the conclusion of this year’s camps a total of twelve boys and twelve girls from NYW were selected to their respective Region I pools. We extend our congratulations and best wishes to the following players as they move on to train                                                                                                            and compete at the next level:
