Gale Agbossoumonde Plays for U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team
Gale Agbossoumonde (NYW ‘91 ODP player), currently at the IMG Academies in Bradenton, Fla., was the youngest of 18 players selected to represent the U.S. at the Copa Chivas Tournament in Mexico.
Gale played in all five matches for the U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team, and recorded one assist in the 2-0 win over Santos, Mexico. The tournament is generally considered the best youth tournament in Mexico and featured 12 Mexican teams and 12 foreign teams. The U.S. finished fourth in each group, which was won by Locomotiv, Moscow.
